PAST PRODUCTION
DECAPITATRIX

Live Animals Onstage! goes WILDE with DECAPITATRIX, a decadent adaptation of Oscar Wilde's Salomé set in the seedy techno club of your nightmares. Equal parts biblical fever dream, family drama, warehouse rave, and ritual sacrifice, the production stages a perverse ritual communion with the divine in a sterile industrial world oscillating between stoicism and decadence.
Presented at Green Lung Studio in Brooklyn, DECAPITATRIX brought Oscar Wilde's Salomé into a red-lit world of ritual, club atmosphere, and domestic ruin.

PRE-SHOW
BEFORE THE SHOW
When you come to a Live Animals Onstage production, the show starts before the show starts. Theater should feel more like a party -- in this case, it included a dance battle, feeding a caged prophet popcorn, and a welcome shot. Death to the sad plastic cup of wine that you have to finish before getting to your seat.
